Western Digital G-Drive USB-C Adds Power And Storage To Your Laptop
Western Digital have launched a brand new storage and power system and that is both Mac and Windows compatible through storage as much as 10 TB in size and having a handy super fast USB-C connection all inside a sleek aluminium enclosure.
The WD G-DRIVE USB-C external desktop drive is plug and play on Mac and supports Apple’s Time Machine backup software which makes it easy to ensure all of your important data is backed up automatically

This G-DRIVE device features the USB 3. 1 Gen 1 interface with USB-C connector, which enables high-speed performance with Mac and Windows PCs of today and tomorrow and likewise ships having a USB-C to USB-A cable for compatibility with traditional systems having a USB-A connector. With USB Power Delivery, G-Technology’s G-DRIVE USB-C device provides as much as 45 watts of charging capability with the USB-C port, so users can charge the newest MacBook or MacBook Pro without having the need of the separate charger.
It could be easily reformatted and it is compatible with Windows PCs. Included within the box is that the drive, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and compatibility with computers featuring a ThunderboltTM 3, USB 3. 1 Gen 1, USB 3. 0 or USB 2. 0 interface.
